Pixeljam
Pixeljam is an indie game studio that has been crafting low-resolution, high-personality games since 2005. With over 25 titles under their belt, including fan favorites like Dino Run 2, Nova Drift, and Utopia Must Fall, they have built a devoted community of players across decades of releases.
My Involvement
Discord Server Overhaul
I redesigned PixelJam's Discord from the ground up, restructuring channels, rules, server information, and auto moderation to better support a catalog of 25+ games and their growing community.
Game-Specific Channels
I built out dedicated info pages and spaces for headline titles like Dino Run 2, Nova Drift, and Utopia Must Fall, including playtesting channels and forum-style feedback and bug report sections.
Community Growth
Over 6 months, the server grew from 2,969 to 4,457 members. New user retention increased by 43% and overall participation rose by 32%.
Game Library Documentation
I created a gallery forum channel with individual threads for each of PixelJam's 25+ games, including descriptions, links, and details for titles spanning Steam releases to classic browser games.
PixelJam's Discord now features dedicated channels for all 25+ of their games, auto-moderation, a help ticket system, and a range of tools designed to keep their growing community organized, engaged, and connected.
